We had a great time at East London Design show last week! We got to meet lots of Noodoll lovers young and old but the part we liked the best, was seeing so many awesome little artists drawing in our London Bus Notebook.

Noodoll creator YiYing Wang was recently interviewed by Blackpool's Grundy Art Gallery in the lead-up to next month's Super Duper Fair.

It takes place in the beautiful Floral Hall of the Winter Gardens, and showcases handmade and vintage products from makers and designers based in the North West and beyond. We admire their love of all things well-designed and beautifully made, and hope that the fair preparations are all going swimmingly!

Our new Noodoll's Friends range features collaborations with talented contemporary designers and illustrators. We feel that friendship and collaboration are really essential, and wanted to see what happened when the world of Noodoll interacted with the imaginations of other creative people.Thus, we have the Donna Wilson Creatures Notecard and Sticker Pack, where Donna's imaginative creations come to play in Noodoll's living room. The screenprinted cardboard pack includes notecards, enveloped stickers and creature bookmarks, as well as some delightful perforated postcards and gift tags.

We have also collaborated with Gemma Correll on the 'Welcome to the Circus' notebook, which displays the friendship between Noodoll and Jean-Luc the monkey. Throughout the squared pages we are introduced to a motley collection of circus perfomers and oddballs. It's a very sleepy Thursday afternoon but we think this fun sneek peek into Noodoll HQ is sure to perk up your day.

We've been very productive indeed and have our little army of rice monsters lined up and ready to march out into the world!

Our desk is very messy but it's filled with lots of friendly faces so it's all ok. Ricestorm has found himself a very fetching hat today. He's using it to keep the sun out of his eyes so he can have a nice nap.

We're also very lucky this week to have our friends from Lucky Boy Sunday in the studio! They've set up their showroom here and we are loving the opportunity to ogle all of their wares all day long!

Some of the Lucky Boy Sunday gang are feeling a bit sleepy too and are having a little nap on the studio sofa.

Today I received a lovely surprise from Juliet, my friend's daughter, who drew a super nice noodoll picture for me. Last Sunday Noodoll attended a jumble sale in Superette Store just off Brick Lane, and met many talented illustrators! It was a really busy day despite the extremely moody weather, loads of people came it was a real buzz there. And Noodoll swap lots of prints and goodies with other store holders, lovely! Noodoll's Kids Modern show experience

Noodoll attended this year's spring Kids Modern show, it was in the beautiful Dulwich College in South East London. The setting was nice, and it was a sunny day.

This is our fun stand- we filled it with our Ricemonster toys, noodoll bags, books, badges and many many other goodies!
We met lots of talented designers, yummy mummies and many little angels! Here we have Belle and Florence holding our latest super giant cloud (Ricestorm) cushions, they clearly had fun with it and we loved it so much that they clouded it over their faces! It was a really fun day!

Noodoll is excited to have been selected to be in the Kids Modern Show! Held in London's Dulwich College on the 18th of April from 10am to 4pm, come along and visit us!

We think spring has finally arrived! Well, at least for the last three days... Pink Rice-Storm also arrives at this time and can't wait for a nice day out for picnic in the park.
